UPDATE:
In 2016 an 11 member team traveled to Kenya. Activities: a youth conference, Widows' and Single Moms' Skills Training, traveling with the BOCADA (Bomet Country Alcohol and Drug Abuse) director and psychologist to speak, encourage and hear the testimonies of 65 in rehab. Meeings with the Kapkesembe Water Council to plan and put into action a new bore hole for the village.
In 2015 a 10 member team served in Kenya. Water issues: meetings were held with Governor Ruto, his officials and the Kapkesembe Water Council to determine water improvement, a pipe line was added from the existing well to the dispensary and plans for an additional water source were discussed. Other work: teaming with Pais in Nairobia to present the Gospel in schools, establishing a Kapkesembe resource center with laptops for the villagers, hosting a pastors' conference, holding AA meetings, providing a women's training in money making skills, presenting VBS at Tililbei Bud Academy.
In 2013 a water tower and solar pump were added and an 8 person team traveled to Kapkesembe, Kenya, to provide teaching, the Jesus film, pastors' conference and AA meetings.
In 2012, a bore hole was completed and a team of 7 were there to celebrate with the villagers.
